bored of the same townies and
households in sims 4 worlds?
Here's how to clear out lots, make new save files, manage worlds, and more!
downloading save files
if you dont want to do all the work of enabling cheats over and over again, deleting 100+ lots, evicting households and moving your sim around the sims 4 map, there are quicker ways to clear out worlds! there are websites upon websites upon websites of amazing simmers who do all the work for you and upload their blank save files as mods! the highest rated blank save file is SrslySims – Modder & Content Creator's file. this file has worked amazingly for me, and i hope it does for you too! there are hundreds of other save files you can load into your game on the CurseForge app, an app that automatically installs mods and custom content so you don't have to! you can download CurseForge here. not sponsored!

By downloading this save file and playing it, you will now have no more pre-made existing houses, gyms, resturaunts, bars, libraries, parks...anything! every lot in every world (even if you dont own some packs, the file will work perfectly!) will be completely blank. no sims (they can be found in manage worlds, tutorial below), no items.... just a beautiful open area to fill with your dream builds! this is great if you want to make neighborhoods, towns, cities, or even fill every world with your own theme!
how to create an empty save file manually
If you for some reason want to do this manually (dont worry...i know how stressful mods can be!) or you cant install mods, (console players) heres how you can do this manually!

first, you will need cheats to be enabled. you can see my cheats list and tutorial at the button above! once you have cheats enabled, make sure you have "bb.enablefreebuild" enabled, or you wont be able to empty lots.
second, either make a new save file with your sim or any random sim, grab them a house, and enter the game. from live mode, press "manage worlds" at the top right of your screen, or press F5 on your keyboard. from here, you can press on separate lots that your sim isnt in, and manage them from there. if there is a household, you will have the options to "evict household", "edit household", or "manage household". you can do a lot with these options! but to empty this lot, evict them so you can build freely and soon make your own sim to live there!
from this point you will also have the option to build in this lot. this means you will go straight to build mode, your sim will stay at home, and you'll have infinite money while building, and won't have to worry about spending all your simoleons!
if youd like to delete this lot and move onto the next one, you can simply bulldoze the lot and terrain at the top of your screen, head back to manage worlds, and repeat the process for any other lot you would like to clear.
happy simming, i hope this tutorial helped!
manage worlds tutorial
in manage worlds, there's so much that sometimes it can be overwhelming, and not many people understand it. but dont worry, ive got you covered!
manage worlds is a tool in the sims 4 that brings you straight to the map and manage households without having you exit to the main menu or start a new game. . in manage worlds, here are some of the things you'll have access to:
world maps
if you still need help, here's my tutorial on youtube!
from manage worlds, the first thing you'll see is the map. from here, even if you were playing in a household before, you can enter and exit worlds, play/edit lots, open other households to play with them, and make a new household. if you want to exit, just go back to the world and lot you were just playing in and click on your sims house. if your sim was in another location, you can click on them or if there's more sims at home, you can also click on them to choose where you want to go.

MANAGE HOUSEHOLDS
more detailed tutorial coming soon!
when you get to manage worlds, in the top right corner of your screen you'll have a "manage households" option. when you click here, this is what you'll see: ----------->
you'll also see two bars called "favorite households" and "other households". this is every single sim in the game, even if they're not in a lot. when you click on a household, you can edit, split and move from household (taking one sim and their money - optional - and putting that sim in another household), move into another household, or move them to your favorites. you can even delete the household forever.

lots
here's my manage worlds tutorial, you can find lots at: 0:00 (coming soon!)
when you click on a world, you'll see all the lots in that world. you'll find out that you can click on all of these, and do multiple things with them. if a sim already lives here, you can evict them, edit them, move them to another household, and more. you can also visit them or play as them from here! along with this, there's also a build option, which allows you to enter build mode with no sim and infinite money so you can bulldoze the lot and start a new build or add on to the original lot. any saved changes will show up in live mode when your sim walks by!
